January 6-8, 2023 – Layers and Lines: Designing New Goals for the New Year

“Great things are done by a series of small things brought together.” – Vincent Van Gogh

From long-standing architecture to page-turning literature, great design is rooted in creating something new and uniquely suited to our personal abilities and desires. Without it, we can feel directionless, connecting dots that fail to contribute to the bigger picture. Learning how to effectively design our lives in a way that is intuitive, creative, and well-constructed can ultimately aid us in executing our visions and living out our purpose.

This January 6-8, 2023, join us at RWC for our 5th annual writing goals retreat. Together, we will examine the layers and lines of our creative lives and utilize the elements of design to develop goals that support our writing, from our innermost dreams to our greatest creations.

She is proud to have worked with Rockvale Writers’ Colony since 2018, and very happy to be back as the Assistant Director in 2023.

Heather writes about the simple things and the forgotten beauty of that which has been cast aside by the fast-paced hustle culture of the world. Born in Ohio, she moved to Nashville in 2009 to pursue the music business, and seeing as that road has brought her here, she hopes her words serve as inspiration for those who are unsure of where their winding paths might be leading them. She is a constant seeker of meaning, of signs, and of purpose, and is thrilled to return to RWC to be a part of the annual Goals Retreat.
